For homeowners thinking about going green, the Lloyds Bank Eco Home Reward scheme is a golden opportunity. With up to £2,000 cashback available for installing renewable systems like air source heat pumps, solar panels, or battery storage, there’s never been a better time to make your home more energy-efficient – and more affordable to run.
At Wright Renewables, we’re proud to support customers through this process as a trusted Worksop-based solar panel installer and local heat pump installer. We also happen to be an approved delivery partner of OVO Solar & Heating – a badge that guarantees exceptional service, safe installations, and zero sub-contractors.
So let’s break down how the Lloyds Eco Home Reward works, and how we can help you claim it.
The Eco Home Reward is an incentive offered by Lloyds Bank to help mortgage customers fund improvements that reduce their energy use. Here’s how it works:
It’s a great way to cut upfront costs while preparing your home for the future. Pair it with the Boiler Upgrade Scheme or your local council’s green home grants and you could be covering a significant chunk of your installation cost.
To be eligible for the Eco Home Reward, you’ll need to meet these criteria:
If you’re unsure about any of the above, don’t worry, our team can help you check your EPC and guide you through eligibility.
Many people think applying for cashback will be a hassle – but it’s simpler than you'd expect. Here’s what the process looks like:
Decide whether you’re going for an air source heat pump, solar PV, battery storage, or insulation. If you’re not sure what suits your property best, give our friendly team a call. We’ll provide expert advice and a quote tailored to your home’s layout, energy usage, and budget.
Wright Renewables will survey your property and provide a free, no-obligation quote. If you're installing a heat pump, we'll check whether you also qualify for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant of £7,500 – that’s in addition to the £2,000 Lloyds cashback.
Log in to the Eco Home Hub on the Lloyds website and register your intention to install an eco improvement. This step is crucial – the cashback only applies if you register before work begins.
You’ll be asked to:
We can help you with this stage – just ask us for the information you need.
Once Lloyds gives you the green light, we’ll book your installation date. As one of OVO Solar & Heating’s trusted in-house partners, we deliver with no subcontractors – just our highly trained engineers who take pride in every install.
You’ll also get a full handover, warranty pack, and access to our local aftercare service, so you can relax knowing it’s all taken care of.
After your install is complete, we’ll provide the final invoice and certification you need to upload to Lloyds. The cashback will then be sent either to your solicitor (if it’s part of a home move) or paid directly into your bank account.
It’s that easy. From first chat to final cashback, we’re with you every step of the way.
We’re not just another installer. At Wright Renewables, we’re a Worksop-based renewable heating installer with a reputation for doing things properly. As a trusted partner of OVO Solar & Heating, we share their values of sustainability, integrity, and long-term customer care.
